Our first honey…
Hive inspection today showed good activity outside the hive with lots of bright orange pollen coming in…almost luminous!
Weather was bright sunny and very hot already for 10am. The brood was busy and cleaner than before with new larvae seen and capped brood, stores and one new lady biting her way out of the cell.
Once again the queen was hiding but the colony was industrious and calm.
The super is looking very good with 5 frames of honey well on the way, 2 are half full with capped honey already.
